We are happy to introduce the fraud orders function that will allow you to analyze the risk level of each order, uncover IP addresses, and limit bad guys from destroying your store. Our feature, integrated with Shopify’s data, provides comprehensive insights to help you make informed decisions to enhance your store's protection.
To view the data, you need to grant Blockify permission to read your orders by clicking the grant permission button in the warning banner.
You will enter the number of days you want our app to sync your old orders. For example, if you enter 30 days, it means that our app will sync all your orders from 30 days ago
This feature is not required. So if you do not want to sync old orders, our app will only display the order starting from the moment you grant permission to our app.
You will only be able to sync orders up to 60 days.
The fraud order analytics table will include the following information:
Order name
Created time: Order time
Fraud order score: A number between 0 and 1 is assigned to the order. The closer the score is to 1, the more likely it is that the order is fraudulent.
IP address of a person placing an order
Order type: According to Shopify’s database, we provide you with a fraud score for each order ranging from 0 to 1
Score below and equal to 0.3 can be considered low-risk
Score between 0.3 and 0.6 can be considered medium-risk
Address with scores above 0.7 are considered high-risk
Action: Add IP address to the blocked list. When you click action, IP will be added to your blacklist
According to the Shopify information, if your store is on the Basic Shopify plan and you don't have Shopify Payments, your data will not have information about fraud score and order type. Learn more about Shopify's fraud analysis
